Day 15 of 35 (Unedited)

episode 15

Yande drunk from his water as he looked at Mwewa, he had a certain anger in his heart but he knew he had to control himself if at all he was to continue doing this.

He sighed deeply, surprisingly the medicine that he had been put on was working and it was appearing that he didn't need the surgery from South Africa.

'Good morning.' He said looking at Yande

Yande didn't respond as he sighed heavily.

'I see someone is in a very bad mood today.' Mwewa added as he was helped to sit upright bu the nurse.

'She cut off your arm?' Yande asked

It was the first time he was seeing Mwewa without the bedsheets.

His left arm was amputated and the right aswell.

Mwewa's smile disappeared from his face.

'I would rather not talk about it.' He said

'You know what, let us talk about it.' Yande said pulling a chair and putting it so close to Mwewa that they were now facing each other eye to eye

'To what lengths did you push your wife that she did this to you?'

'I don't want to talk about it.'

'You dont want to but you will, do you know that that is why I was assigned here? I was assigned here to get the truth out of you and whatever means I will use I will get it.'

'I am not talking to you about this Yande, leave or I will tell the judge that you are no longer doing your job.'

Yande laughed, hysterically that it scared Mwewa.

'You know what, I think I am tired of being here. I am tired of pretending as if I like you because I don't.'

'I have been waiting for this moment to come Yande, I have always wanted to know why you were trying so hard to pretend that you wanted to help me.' Mwewa responded

'I see it is time to drop the act.' He added

Yande stood up and paced about the room, making sure to lock the door.

'You see my parents died at a tender age. Leaving me to be a parent when I should have been a child.'

He paused

'I gave everything I had to my younger sibling, the child that our parents had left me. I worked my back day and day out trying to make ends meet. I did all odd jobs to put her through school. And when I could stand on my two feet I made sure we both had the life that our parents wished for us. Mwewa I loved my sister with everything in me, giving her the best of me.'

'You are telling me this because?'

'Because you are a God damn thief Mwewa!' Yande said angrily

'You take, you rob. You ruin. You destroy. You don't get satisfied!' He roared

'Speak like a man Yande and stop beating around the bush, whatever the problems you have are none of my business.'

Mwewa laughed

'You had many relations with a lot of girls, do you think they came from the bush?'

'Excuse me?'

'Do you think the numerous girls you had affairs with were animals that just used to go back to the Bush with no one caring about them?'

'That was my life and I don't owe you any explanation!'

'Of course you do you swine!' Yande said roaring with anger and the room shook

'Get down with it, what do you want to tell me that keeps holding you back.'

'Weren't you satisfied? Where did you get the time and the energy? Wasn't Ellie enough? You married your childhood sweetheart, you had a beautiful child. Didn't you have it all?'

'If you don't have anything to tell me I would want to sleep.' Mwewa blurted

'You will, but never to wake up again. Because I will make sure that by the time I am done with you you will regret ever destroying my sister's life.'

'Your sister?'

'Huh, you actually thought Abigail didn't have a family right?'

The shock on Mwewa's face was unmistakable

'Yes Abigail, or should I say Abby?'

'Yande I had no idea that.'

He didn't allow him to finish his sentence

'So if you had an idea you would have done things differently huh?' He asked sarcastically

'I didn't mean it like that.'

'Abby is the only family that I have and you ruined her life.'

'Yande I am sorry.'

'Sorry won't bring back the best of her youth that you took, sorry won't make it all okay Mwewa. You took her childhood away.'

'Yande I am sorry but Abigail wasn't a child and she consented to all this. I am not proud of everything that I did but entirely blaming me is very childish. Whatever happened happened and it is time to move on.'

'Its very easy to say when you are not the one wearing the pants, you have no idea the kind of hell you put her through. And you think we don't know about the other affairs that you had, you think we have no idea of everything that you did. Abigail is my sister and maybe if you had a younger sister you would understand my position. I am the only father she has, the mother she never grew up with. The brother that she had and I will do everything in my powers to protect her.'

'The milk is spilt, nothing can be done and I am sorry I hurt her.'

'You are not Mwewa, just because you were caught doesn't make you sorry. You being in this position is because your wife was tired of your nonsense and couldn't take more of your crap. I am yet to punish you for ruining her life, and I dare you to talk to me about consent one more time until your daughter is walking the path Abby walked.'

Yande stood up.

'I won't be coming here anymore, because I might just choke you to death. I will wait for the judge to pass his judgment then I can send you where you belong.' Yande said walking to the door

'Yande wait.' Mwewa called but he unlocked the door and walked out

He tried to wheel himself out using one hand but he couldn't, he ended up falling off the wheel chair.

'Yande wait.' Mwewa said as he cried on the floor

'Wait.' He said crying some more but he couldn't do anything

'I am sorry.' He said between sobs as he lay there helplessly
