Episode 69

Ronald is determined to have his way with Melanie who can only afford to beg him not to

"Please Ronald you're not a rapist, you have never been and you can't become one now..... please don't do it I will do whatever you ask of me, I will leave Tobi and go with you where ever you want us to go but please Don't do it" she pleads but he's not falling for her tears

"I don't trust you Melanie...... I know you're just saying all of this to get rid of me so you can't stop me, I can't fall for your tears"

"Please....!!!" she raises both hands up and she's weeping.........but she's saved by a phone call that came through to Ron.......

Lillian has gotten tired of police frequenting her home and questioning everyone about Ron's whereabouts, she's getting scared because in their initial plan, kidnapping Mel was not part of the deal, they had agreed they would shoot Tobi and pick a few things and leave Mel there so she was so shocked when she got to hear that Mel was missing, though Ron has not called to tell her that he has her, she already can tell so she sneaks and stands outside where she could make a call to him without any suspicion, she looks left and right and when she's sure, she dials the number...... it wasn't long before he picked

"Son....thank goodness you picked where are you"

"And why should I tell you where I am"

"Because I'm your mother, because I was part of this and you only used me....my God, if I had known you had this intention I wouldn't have agreed to help you"

"You talk too much mother....."

"The police are just frequenting this home I'm telling you and I'm getting tired already.... I have run out of things to say to them and your sister is not making matters any better.... please tell me where you're and I will come to you without anyone knowing I swear"

"Can I trust you mother..... can I"

"You can and you should, I wouldn't betray you.....we are in this together remember"

"Be careful.... come to kuluva but make sure you're alone, no money business"

"Where exactly in kuluva"

"The house on the left next to the hill"

"Yes....be careful"

"I shall be there" she ends the call and gets back inside the house hurriedly and when she's gone....Becky stands up from under the tree next to where Lillian was standing

"So it's in kuluva......see you there baby" she blows a kiss in that direction and gets into the house, she meets Lillian looking so unsettled in the living room, the moment Lillian sees her enter, she shivers in discomfort and shock

"Where are you coming from...." she asks

"I was just out in the garden somewhere around the pool" she answers trying so much not to look guilty and Lillian takes her time to study her face, nothing looks suspicion about her

"Excuse me....I need to get dressed and go out pick up a few things that I need" she runs upstairs to her room where she quickly removes whatever she had been putting on, she gets a black leather jacket, a black boots and blue Jeans, she wears the Jean with a red T-shirt........she looks around the room and when she's sure, she gets out a secret bag and opens it....inside she gets out a well hidden gun, brushes it and stuffs it under her panty and covers it with the jacket....she wears the boots and composes herself, she has her passport ready and other documents she knows are so important to her.....she comes down majestically and this time Lillian is looking at her like she knows exactly what she's going for.....she gets out of the house, the compound and stands waiting for a cab at the gate............

Tobi has been able to drag himself to his room where he's trying so hard to understand the meaning of Mel's call earlier..... part of him wants to believe that Mel actually meant those words but a part of him also doesn't want to.... he knows there is something wrong somewhere which he needs to find out....he calls his friend Mac

"You actually mean Melanie said those words to you....that she doesn't want you"

"Not only that...she said she has never forgiven me and that she has only been pretending all along"

"Something is wrong somewhere"

"That's what I thought too but what can I do, how can I do it"

"Have you tried calling her again"

"Her phone is switched off....I tried so many times....but one thing I'm sure of is that if Melanie truly wanted to leave me, if it's true she has never forgiven me, she would have taken her daughter with her....and she would have called off those hitmen because I had called her earlier enough to tell her that I was going to send someone else to come pick he up"

"You know you have a point there....I'm sure Ronald forced her to say those words, I'm sure he threatened her with something so dear to her heart"

"Exactly..... but the police is not doing enough..... they tell me to wait but I can't do that anymore, I want answers yet I can't find them"

"Bit do you know a place Ron would want to take Mel to" Tobi is quiet for a few seconds

"Terego....remember, the other time he actually took her there when he wanted to speak with her.....when we looked for her in vain and she called saying she was there"

"Do you think he would really take her there.....I doubt if he would"

"Why not.......I'm sure he had no idea Mel told me where she was that time"

"You have a point there but what do we do"

"I'm going there Right away,I want to hear from her lips that she doesn't love me anymore.... I want to hear it as I look her in the eyes

" Then I will go with you....wait for me" .............

Lillian has managed to find a chance to leave her home and head to where her son is....no one at home really never bothered about where she said she was going, not even her husband..... she has taken the shortest route there and prays no one follows her, her mind goes on Becky, how strange she behaved today, she remembers she didn't really ask her exactly where she was going but she hopes she wasn't listening to their conversion..... she continues to drive and drive there and soon arrives....she packs the car somewhere because it can't go up to the isolated area she manages to finish her journey by footing, but she's not aware that she's just few metres away from Becky who is also walking towards the House...........

When the call interrupted Mel and Ron, the idiot had gone out to receive the call so she wouldn't hear what they were talking about.... now he's back with a tray full of food....he comes in and opens the door, all he sees on Mel's beautiful face is tears, fresh and dry ones too....since she's no longer chained, she's scouting down next to a well tied up Doc

"I brought you food my love....juts the way you always love it" he says but Mel doesn't respond nor does she even look up

"Cheer up....I know you're a little sad about your baby but soon you will have another babis....this time a baby of our own, you will love it I'm sure so eat up, be healthy for our children"

"I'm not hungry" she gets up and walks over to the bed, her waist pain, her back is so sensitive and so painful, she looks yellow like someone who's meals are not balanced....... she wails in pains as she wants to sit at a better position

"I'm sorry I tried something so stupid earlier....I'm so sorry and I can assure you nothing like that is going to happen unless you develop some long ears"..... he forces her to eat the food in five minutes time, she goes into another room and soon comes back with a white dress

" Get in there and freshen up....we are getting married and we are only waiting for my mother and the priest" he throws the dress at her and she throws it back to him

"I'm not marrying you unless it's my dead body you're going to force and order around......I can't marry a monster like you".........

Becky finally gets to the house whose details she had kept up in mind, she can tell it's the place and the house because it's quiet and no sigh that someone stays bare... she walks over to the door and pushes it slightly, she realises it's not locked, she looks back at the road she used and she can't see Lillian.... she slowly enters the house and closes the door behind........... she starts to walk as carefully as possible and this time around, she gets out the gun from inside her pants and points it forward, she's going to kill both that bitch and Ronald..........

" Your useless husband is lucky he survived my attack on him....that guy in the hospital should have been him....I wish I had and could just finish him off"

"You can't compare yourself to Tobi because he's way batter man than you....it doesn't matter for how long you're going to keep me locked up in here for ever..... you can't eat your cake and have it....you had vomited me out five years ago and now I don't want you anymore" this earns her a slap and Mel doesn't stop there she continues to rub the fact that Tobi is a better man in his face and he gets mad and more violent, he grabs her throat and starts to chock her

"I'm going to you I swear" Mel wants to beg him to stop but her voice is not coming out, her eyes are turning white and suddenly someone speaks from the door and he freezes, when he heard the voice

"Let her go....." he doesn't turn immediately but wonders how she got here, he releases his hands from her throat and Mel coughs, Ron turns slowly but surely to face her

"Don't you make a move you psycho or I will not think twice about shooting you......I will blow your head down right here right now"

"A gun?????.....please put it down".....

" Yes.....now get down on your knees " he looks at the table and spots his gun, but Becky is quick in action, she moves over to the table pointing the gun at him and picks up his gun, she stuffs it in her panty again

"Don't move....or else you're dead meat".....

Episode 70

"I said let her go or will shoot you and I'm so serious about it" Becky continues to threaten making Ron to abandon what he was doing to Melanie and he turns around slowly , he's planning to grab her arms but she reads his mind

"Don't even make a move....don't you try it" Ron stops

"Please give me that gun Becky"

"I said don't you come close to me Ronald"

"Give me that gun and let's talk like mature adults we're" Mel who is trembling is just watching the whole thing like it's a horror movie

"How many times have I begged you to let us talk, how many times have I waited for you in the living room so we could talk when you get beck? huh answer me how many times........it's either you're drunk or in a bad mood"

"I know I owe you a talk and that's why I'm saying we should talk, give the gun to me....hand it over to me please"

"Have you once in your wretched life considered if I had not come here looking for you....
as for the gun, I will only put it down when I'm finished with you and this your obsession" she points the gun at Mel but doesn't take her eyes from Ron, Mel is sweating more

"I loved you Ronald, I loved you so much that I even reduced myself, paying deaf ears to my friend's warnings and thought you loved me, I followed you blindly here but what did I get...nothing Ronald nothing you bastard" she's so furious and it's like the gun is going to be shot at any moment from now

"Get down on your knees right now" he does

"I'm going to teach you a lesson that you should not play with people's feelings in your next life....got that"

"I'm so sorry......i....I never wanted to hurt you, I meant it when proposed to you back there in Zambia.... it was not a joke"

"But then it turned into a much bigger joke right?..... to you I'm always invisible in your eyes......you pretended my fire never burns but I guarantee that it will but you today"

"It hasn't gotten into this.....we can work this out I'm sure"

"Oh really but making me your side chic right Thank you but no.....I will be a fool if I let you win......we're all losing this battle and as for your little woman here, I would have spared her had it been she had not witnessed this" Ronald has really never used the gun himself but his bad goons are the ones doing all the bad works for him but he's waiting for the perfect opportunity to jump on Becky so he can take the gun from her just as luck or bad luck may have it, there is a knock at the door, they both know who is knocking

"Here comes the mighty mother...... oh what a perfect revenge, three people who have made my life so miserable all going down..... don't you think that's too good really?"

"Leave my mother out of this your madness"

"Oh so you Call this madness..... she's your mother and your Ally..... she has your back and always plans your every move..... but I can assure you.......
I have got my own back I can assure you"

"Please, you're not a bad person...
you're so peaceful so and this isn't you Becky"

"A wounded woman is capable of anything, you lied to my parents and deceived all of us but all this is ending today...right here right now" the knock at the door continues and then after a few seconds, Ron's cell phone begins to ring, he looks at it and it's his mother

"Who is it.... who is calling....is it your mother.....pick it up and tell her you're coming to open for her"........He trembles and picks

" Mother.... "

"Are you sure I'm at the right place son.......I have been knocking all this while and you're not opening"

"I'm coming mother......you're at the right place" he ends the call and looks up to Becky who is not blinking

"Let's get going...... get up already" she walks over to him as he gets up....the gun is already at the back of his head and they walk out of the room with Becky behind him......Mel scrawls out of bed and looks for an exit but there is non...she looks around and spots Ron's phone...she picks it up and good enough he doesn't have password she needs to call Tobi........

Tobi strolls broken like the broken hearted man he is, he has run out of ideas on what to do and he looks defeated.... he sits down and looks on but suddenly his maid runs towards him

"Sir your phone is ringing" she hands it over to him and he looks at the phone....he doesn't know the number, he doesn't know, he decides to pick anyway

"Hello who is this"

"Tobi.....Tobi it's me, come save me"

"Melanie...... where are you.....where tell me"

"Kuluva....a house on the left on the hill" before Mel can go further and tell him more, he hears a gunshot...... tobi grows cold, he shouts but he hears nothing.... Mel is not talking

"Melanie...... Melanie are you there " no reply he takes off and and gets into his car and drive off...........

Ronald and his mother had been pushed inside forcefully by Becky who is showing a different and more shocking side, they had just got I'm the room when they caught Melanie on phone, before thinking twice, she just uses the gun on her sending everyone in shock watching Melanie is bleeding.

"You bitch how could you"

"You shot her" Ron asks

"And I will shoot all of you because I had not planned on doing this.....she wasn't supposed to be the first one"

"You monster....you monster, you will rote in hell and I'm going to finish you right now"

"Who has the gun Ronald.... who has the gun, is it not me, before the police or that bastard husband gets here.....I will kill all of you" Ron jumps on her and they are struggling with the gun.....
