(Episode 8)

That day, Lucy decided to ask Nathan for a divorce, before they bring in innocent children into thier loveless marriage.
That evening, Nathan did not return home, he called Lucy to inform her that he was going to spend his night at his mother’s place, before he could give his reasons, the call ended, she tried calling him back but the phone was switched off “That’s strange” Lucy thought.

The next day, Lucy’s day began with Richard’s phone call. “How are you doing my good friend” Richard said at the other end of the phone “I’m good” Lucy said calmly
“I’m at your gate” Richard said
“At my gate? Why?” Lucy said shockingly
“I came around your neighbourhood this morning and I decided to see you briefly today but if it’s not the right time, I can go”Richard said at once
“no Richard, there’s never a wrong time for friends to see each other, come in!”Lucy said

Richard arrived in no time, the two friends were sighted sitting on the couch in the sitting room , conversing, Lucy laughed so hard at Richard jokes, it seems as if she had decided to get rid of her sorrows.
as their little conversation was going on, Lucy countenance suddenly changed immediately Richard asked about her husband Nathan.”I hope your husband was not upset about my visit yesterday?”

she was mute and immediately Richard figure she was sad, “I hope my question doesn’t upset you?, I’m sorry” he said and Lucy gave a faint smile, “You said nothing wrong, it’s just that I have so much going on now and little things tend to trigger some sad emotions” she said as few drops of tears fell off her eyes.

Richard stretched his hand and cleaned the tears that fell off her eyes, “Please stop crying, you are beautiful and deserve to be happy” he said. Lucy closed her eyes and thought of how her husband keeps neglecting her and broke down in tears the more. Richard became emotional too, he moved closer to her and rested her head on his chest.

“My Husband did not return home yesterday and today he is not back yet and this is 10:30am already and till now no call from him, I don’t know why he treats me like I don’t matter to him, I know he doesn’t love me but must he rub that to my face all the time? “Lucy said, she was in tears, she opened up all the emotions she had been bottling up for more than two years.

Richard held Lucy tightly and his grip caused her body to shake and made her heart beat faster. Before they knew what was happening, Richard looked into her eyes and planted a hot passionate kiss on her lips. Lucy knew deep down that what she was doing was wrong but she didn’t have the power to stop it, it has been long since she had made love with her husband.

They kissed for a long time, Richard laid Lucy down on the couch in thier sitting room and placed his hot body on her soft body, he was burning and ready to devour Lucy. “You are beautiful and I love you so much” he whispered to her ears and she rolled her eyes in pleasure. Richard pulled her clothes off and kissed every part of her body,
Lucy moaned in great pleasure.

After about thirty minutes of intense pleasure, they both tiredly laid on each other on the couch, trying to catch their breath when Lucy sight wandered to the unlocked door, she almost died due to shock when she saw her husband Nathan staring at them. “How did he get in and when did he get in” were the thoughts running through her mind. She shamefully told Richard that her husband was there. They untangled themselves immediately.

Lucy was dying of guilt but didn’t
Know what to do or say, They got up afterwards and Shamefully stared at Nathan who was already in tears, “Oh No!” he screamed and walked away crying, Nathan was shattered, he remembered what happened on his 10th birthday and now he understood how his mother felt that day. The pain triggered ugly memories and he wept bitterly.
