Episode 18
Everyone present were shocked as they stared in amazement at Michael as he walked in with his beautiful lover. They were both looking magnificent as they wore matching outfits. It was a pretty sight to behold.
Many reporters and news channels had their eyes on them. The winner of best business of the year was announced and it happened to be Michael. He was so joyous and so was Jessie. He brought Jessie up to the stage and introduced her as his lover. He complimented her qualities and beauty. The occasion was indeed joyful.
Natasha got to hear of that and became embittered towards Jessica. She vowed to destroy her. The next day on their arrival, they were being congratulated by everyone but that was a welcome to hell unknown to Jessie . After work that day,they all went home. Michael wanted to take Jessie out for dinner but she declined as she said she wanted to prepare dinner for aunt too since tiffany wasn't around. Michael went home then. He went to freshen up and then Henry snuck into his room and stole the office keys. He replaced them with a similar bunch of keys. Henry left for Michael's office and when he got in he stole an endorsement file worth 2.5 million and left. Only Zack,Jessie and Mike had access to those keys but Zack wasn't around as he went to kaduna with tiff to introduce her to his parents as the woman he loved. This left Jessica in a mess. Henry gave Tasha the good news and they both rejoiced as it meant a successful plan.
The next morning at work, Michael came in first as he had an early presentation at work with the "stolen" file. He searched his drawer where he kept it but couldn't find it. He searched his desk, Jessica's too but didn't find it. He was shocked because his company was protected heavily with many advanced technologies especially his office and that of Zack so no one could easily break in and besides there was no sign of such. Jessie arrived later and wished Michael a good morning.

Michael didn't respond to the greeting as he was so engulfed in finding the file . He asked Jessie about the file but she denied knowing anything about it. Michael was beginning to get angry. He said to her:" you are the only one with access into this office right now as Zack is out of town . The office is protected with lots of high tech products which means no one broke in but someone with access entered there and stole the file ". Jessie said :"yes, you're right about all that but it doesn't mean I took it. I mean why would I want to do such or don't you trust me?" Michael replied:" so the file developed legs of it own and walked away then and walked away right? Just forget it". He walked out leaving Jessie alone in topsy turvy.
Tasha was eavesdropping on their conversation "this will be the perfect time to get closer to him" she said. She followed Michael and tried calming him down. She took him to a bar where he took a glass of champagne to cool off. After he was a lil bit calm, Jessie sweetly asked him what happened and he narrated everything to her. She said " I know you're angry at her mine but you need to think straight. Being angry like this won't help matters neither is it good for you. So what if she took the file? She must have her reasons. Maybe she wanted to use the money urgently and couldn't tell you about it". Michael stood up in anger at hearing that and he said:"I know Jessie and she would never do that okay? I trust her". Tasha replied:"trust is good but when it becomes blinding it is dangerous. Did you think she actually loved you for nothing? She has gotten close to you and believes you'll never suspect her or accuse her of committing such crime. Show her you're not a naive man honey ". Michael removed her hand from his and walked out. Tasha said to herself:" you might have this trust in her but it won't last. Definitely not on my watch. I still need to pull more tricks and you'll be mine". She laughed and left.
