Wednesday, December 25 and Thursday, 26, 2013 have been declared as public
holidays by the Federal Government for the commemoration of Christmas and Boxing Day celebration.
Similarly, January 1, 2014 has been declared as public
holiday to mark the New Year.
Making the announcement on Friday in Abuja, the
Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, urged all Christian faithful and Nigerians in general to extend the spiritual benefits of Christmas, which is love, joy,
peace and kindness to their daily living and through this, reflect on the giant strides
made by the present
administration in the
