Church, mosque etc. like y’all know, -especially in the country side- is clustered everywhere. And everyday, pastors, priests, and imams beckon on their members to invite new members; and everyday, still, new members are converted. It is fast rising. And just like our emotions, religion is one other leading factor of mental enslavement. Hence, one needs to be very careful, the Bible, the Qur’an etc. is falling into different hands: both called and uncalled, well read and illiterates etc. This is no good for our development or the community’s at large.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m in no way implying that being an ardent member of a particular religious group is bad, or am I saying that the activities as inscribed in the Bible or Qur’an or any other faction is bad. But, prior to the fact there are bad interpreters of these documentaries, it is not advisable to go to any religious gathering with a sane mind. Else, you will be mad at the happening, your mind will be corrupted and you will finally run mad. Lol.
Of course you don’t have to be mad to be fit for a particular religious group, but, just like I’ve said earlier, you needn’t go there with a sane mind.

Sanity in this sense is like you going to church immediately after your Phil 101 class, when you are ready to question questions and question answers. You will be disappointed, frustrated, and probably turned into an atheist, because you will see a lot of things that doesn’t go in accordance to human reasoning, at worst, in conformation with the Bible or the Qur’an:
Your priest, if you are a Catholic, instead of preaching the gospel will blab about that wealthy man in your community who donated a hundred thousand naira to aid the church committee. And your pastor, if you are one of those Protestant, will be outside, with your church elders, arguing about last Sunday’s Collection, how it was spent, and what it was spent on.
It is appalling, today’s religious gathering, without doubt, is the fastest means of income enhancement. And all of these is at the detriment of their members’ psyche.

In as much I’m not asking pastors and priests, imams or whoever their religious leader is, to deviate from their dubious act, I’m not asking anybody to get swindled by this people tactics. Just leave your logics at home, not your sense.
