    📦GRANDMOTHER’S BOX📦
    📦Episode 1📦
My three siblings started grouching and complaining as soon as Dad told us that we’ll be spending our holiday with our grandmother in the village.
“Your Mum and I are going on a trip to Russia and you guys will have to spend your holiday at my Mum’s place. Thank God you just finished your exams”, My Dad said one night after dinner. He continued further that Grandma has greatly missed us and she’s longing to see us and have us in her arms.
He continued further that Grandma has been so lonely since the disappearance of Grandpa. From what I heard, they said Grandpa wondered away before we were born while some said he was probably kidnapped. I’ve only seen his picture on my Dad’s phone one, and that was before he deleted it. I could tell from the Grandpa’s picture I saw in Dad’s phone that he was a very strict man.
We were never told any of us the full story, what we just knew was that Grandpa didn’t die and that has greatly affected Grandma. Hence, all her children, including my Dad took it upon themselves not to make Grandma feel so lonely, so, they took turns in visiting her with the grandchildren. My parents only visits alone and they’ve never took us with them.
My siblings countenance changed immediately my Dad announced his intention. I was the only one that found the news pleasing because I’ve been longing to see Grandma for a very long time.
The last time we visited the village was when I was still a baby and it was only my older siblings that got the full grasp of how the village looks like. “Maybe they don’t want to go because of that”, I thought to myself.
“Do you really think we can go see Grandma. She can sometimes be very scary”, Judith, our second born said one night when we were about to go to bed.
“I don’t think so too”, Justin, our first born added.
“What are you guys actually afraid of. It’ll be really exciting to know how the village looks like”, I chipped in.
“It’s not the village. It’s Grand…..”, Justin was momentarily cut short when Dad barged into the room.
We slithered swiftly under our blanket as soon as he opened the door and in our course of pretending that we were asleep, we actually slept off.
We vacated in school the following day and we travelled down to the village two days after. We packed enough snacks and goodies into our bag and we packed many other stuff we’ll need.
We hopped in into Dad’s car and the journey to the village started.
We were in the car for about three hours before Dad stopped in front of a gigantic building. It was like a mansion and it made me conclude that we were yet to reach the village because there can’t be such type of building in a village, but I was wrong. It was Grandma’s house
I was surprised when the gate of the building was opened for us and Dad drove in.
The place turned out to be Grandma’s house.
Grandma was full of smiles when she came to welcome us and her actions was the exact opposite of what my siblings thought it’ll be. She was so nice and welcoming.
My siblings were even more clinging to her than I thought they’ll be and they started exploring the whole house.
That reassured me that our holiday is going to be fun.
Dad and Mum returned the next day after we assured him that we’ll be fine.
Everything changed immediately our parent left.
Grandma that was full of smiles when we came suddenly became cold towards us. She seized our video games and she kept them in her room. She stopped us from going out of the house. Her reason for doing this was unknown to us.
Everything became boring because of our games she seized and this resulted into us sleeping anytime we are bored. This made me plan to get back our games and I planned on doing this when she’s not around.
It’s been only four days and the place was already feeling like he,ll.
Grandma eventually went out one morning and that was when I gained access to her room.
I started ransacking her room and I came across four old boxes. The four boxes were carefully kept in the inner part of her wardrobe and due to my own talent in stea, ling stuff, I was able to see the boxes.
Thinking that our video game might be inside it, I opened the first box and I was surprised to see a human head inside it.
I screamed as soon as I saw the head and I dropped the box in fright, making the head roll out of the box. It rolled and stopped directly in front of me, making the scenario more creepy.
The head was still very fresh and fleshy and it just looked like it was placed there a day before. It was when I took a closer view that I realized that the head greatly resemble the head of the man I saw in my Dad’s phone.
I gave a louder scream when I realized that it was my Grandfather’s head, and there it was in my Grandmother’s box.
