After all, you have worked through the week, and you deserve to have fun and go places during the short weekend.

But, there is a problem, the weekend can’t be ‘lit’ without money! and somehow you are constrained by your tight budget as you have a limit on how you spend your money.

So, how else can you have fun?

Well, here are 5 places to go to in Lagos for people on a budget.

    1. Pay a visit to the Freedom Park

Located on the Island side of Lagos State, Freedom Park has a lot of great sites to behold.

There are little statues, pools, ponds, museum, amphitheatre and a Wole Soyinka gallery. You can get into the park with as low as N200 and also buy food and drinks for a reasonable price.

    2. Grab Popcorn and watch a movie at the Cinema

What is best than to watch the latest blockbuster in style. There are a lot of cinemas in Lagos, and you have the liberty to choose which one matches your budget.

If you are vying to see a newly released movie, the will be an additional price and may be out of your budget. So you might want to wait a few weeks to get a lower price. Still, make sure to have fun.

    3. Feel fresh and fly at the beach

Not everybody likes the beach, but it is famous because of the fun and splendid view.

So as long as you can get to the island in Lagos, you have a variety of beaches to choose from, and guess what, the entry fee is cheap.

Be sure to go with friends and live your best life.

    4. Enjoy the company of friends and family at an Owanbe

What is Lagos without an Owambe? There is always one function or the other going on in Lagos. If you are not a fan of movies or the beach, then Owambe is for you.

Even if you are going as an attache or an invitee you are sure to have fun and have a good weekend. All you need to do is look for a location and look good.

    5. Enjoy great African Music at the Afrika shrine

This place honours the King of Afrobeat, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. It oozes entertainment and you can attend the free show that holds every last Saturday of the month by Seun Kuti.

Drinks are cheap, and you will be thrilled with the genuine African experience.

Its time to get hyped for the weekend, you can have the fun you deserve even with your tight budget. Thank.God.Its. Friday, and live your best life.

Where do you think you can go to in Lagos on a budget?
