"Ma..a'm am...am" I stammered and bent my head,I was stammering,how could I be daft on my first day and this woman doesn't look like someone that is friendly at all
"Look here the both of u ,I know the real reason y u are here and my eyes are on the both of u so just behave"she hissed and went upstairs while the maids who was standing there all the while asked us to follow her for our room
When we got it the room and the maid left my mum slumped on the bed and sighed and gave that face that says she is not alryt
" mum pls don't think about that woman or wat she said ok,everything is going to be alryt"I said while my mum nodded and we start arranging our things in the room

I woke up the next day feeling a hotness beside me and I jerked up and saw my mum shivering beside me
"Oh Gosh"I shouted
" mum!!!,u are....."I paused and felt her temperature
She was running a fever,I quickly ran out and saw a maid passing by and I asker her the way to the kitchen and she directed me and I got a bowl of water to our room,I took out a towel and help her to regulate her temperature
"Mum pls don't die" I said while tears streamed from my eyes
"Silly girl, am not dying yet,I want to see u finish high school and go to college and graduate" she said with a weak smile and I returned it
"Go and check some malaria drugs in my bag" she said and I quick brought it out and brought out a buns we forgot to eat the day before and gave her after which I gave her the med and she slept off while I just stared at her forgetting am a maid and have some duties that morning

Jerry's POV
Damn my old man!! I muttered angrily, he wants me to go back to Nigeria and learn how to run the business and he knows I hate business and my dream is to become a mechanical engineer but he wouldn't hear if it,I regret being an only child...I fell down on my king-sized bed in my room in the mansion my late grandpa gave to me as my birthday gift when I was 10 which was situated in London
Who is that! I muttered angrily when I heard the knock on the door
"Come in" I said sarcastically and Sonia,my first love and girlfriend came in beaming with smile
"Hi jerry" she said and pecked me after which she sat down on my bed while smiling,Sonia was one of the beautiful, hottest and richest girl in high school...though she might have all this qualities and riches she was never like all those proud and pompous girls in high school that was why I fell for her when I first came to America when I was 12
"Hey why the long face" she asked
"I am going back to Nigeria Tomorrow" I said and her mood changed
"U know if I had my way I won't go" I said and sighed
"My father wants me to come back and learn how to run the business" I said while she quickly smiled and looked at me trying to hide her sadness
"Jerry u have to obey ur father,okay maybe when u have learnt all I have to u can come back and I promise to wait for u till then" she said with a smile while I forced a smile
"I am really lucky to have u" I said and raised her chin up and kissed her while we hugged

The next day
When I got to Nigeria after so many hours of travelling, I descended from my private jet and the harsh sun hit my skin
"I just hate this country"I muttered while the chauffeur who was waiting for me led me to the waiting limousine

When we got home I was welcomed by my mum who was waiting for me at the entrance of the door....trust my mum for that she would buy the whole world to welcome her only son
" mum!!"I shouted and hugged her
"U look really skinny jerry aren't those maid feeding u well in London?" She asked as we walked inside and we went straight to the dining room
"It is not it mum,maybe I got skinny from studying wat I don't want to" I said sarcastically while she just sighed
"Just do what daddy says ok" she said while I just rolled my eyes while a maid served my food and she turned to another maid
"Where is the new maid" she asked
"I heard she is down with malaria" the maid said
"And her daughter? Is she down with malaria too?" She asked
"No she isn't" the maid answered
"Then go and call her ryt now" she commanded and the maid ran up quickly to get the so called maid
Few minutes later the maid came back with a devastating beauty,though she wore tattered clothes and her hair was scattered and untidied she looks like a goddess....I stared at her like a poor man who saw a very large amount of money for the first time
