Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
@Radisson blu hotel.

7th August.

?Ambrose POV?

We are done in Cape Town, I don't think I and Haira want to go back there ever again.

It reminds us of betrayal, lust and the wickedness of man's heart.

We saw few places in Cape Town before coming down to Port Elizabeth.

Her friend stays here and she would love to see her before we return to Nigeria mid next month.

"Ambrose!" She called out, we sat on a swing at the quiet part of the hotel, Her head stayed motionless on my chest.

"My love" I responded, I have been trying to get her back to her jovial mood.

"Would you still divorce me?" She asked softly, the wing blowing her long braids to my face.

"I never said I was going to do that" I kissed her hair.

"But.......But, you left Hanna when you discovered she slept with Donatus and fiks" She said with a shaky voice, I knew she was going to cry soon.

"Donatus raped you, Hanna did it willingly countless times. Hanna was a drug addict and a lesbian, she did an abortion for Donatus, She have done worse to me and my properties, I just couldn't take it when Fiks and Donatus opened up to me" I told her, holding the swing chain with my right hand and rubbing her back with the other.

"What's Donatus fate?" She asked.

"Jail, death, whatever!" I responded harshly and she jerk. Moving her head off my chest, she started into my eyes.

"He's still your friend remember?" She said. I got pissed, whose friend?

"Do you even know what "friend" means? Friends got each others back, they stand up for each other, friends go to extra miles to save their friend. Donatus is nothing but an antagonist" I fired getting up the swing.

"Up baby, come have some rest" I swept her off her feet, she wrapped one hand around my neck and the other on my waist. I could feel her staring into my eyes, I looked straight and focused on where I was going.

"Just find some sleep, don't do this to yourself" I kissed her forehead immediately I dropped her on the soft mattress.

"I want to talk to you Ambrose" She said holding my hand to her tummy.

"Go on baby" I pulled down, facing her directly.

"What happens if I don't get to carry any child in here?" She asked rubbing my palm against her tummy.

"Don't you have a womb?" I asked frowning.

"I do"

"Are your tubes blocked?"

"No"

"So what's your problem? We are barely six months into our marriage and you are giving yourself headache over babies already? Was it because of the small fibroid the doctor saw in there? Just shut your mouth up and concentrate on giving us happy memories, don't annoy me. If you still don't get pregnant in another five years, we would go for surrogacy as long as your eggs are not dead" I said into her face and she shut her eyes slightly exhaling. I got out of bed and covered her up with the duvet before dashing out to get some liquor, she just ruined my mood with those crazy thoughts and talks of hers.

Lagos, Nigeria.

?Hanna POV?

They came, Kay's family. Feranmi kept looking at me with that peppered Yoruba girl's eyes.

Two uncles, Kay, feranmi and Kay's mom did the first nuclear family introduction.

I sat close to my dad and watch them interact. Bobby was present, he wouldn't stop picking calls rudely and interrupting our discussions. he's use to doing that when he's not comfortable with the topic been discussed.

They brought a basket of fresh fruit and three bottles of alcoholic wines ?. The look on my face when Bobby peeled almost a bunch of banana brought by fiancee family could kill. He wouldn't even mind that they were still there with us, he opened one of the wines and washed it down his throat.

"Bobby!" My mom cautioned seeing his disgraceful act.

"I hate pretence in my life, ain't we still the same people to eat them? I am hungry biko" He said gargling a mouthful of wine.

My dad laughed hysterically. I knew Bobby had a complain about my husband's family. He definitely wasn't satisfied with them because he never constituted nuisance when Ambrose came with his people. In fact he did the decorations anticipating their arrival.

I watch as Kay's family left, Kay gave me few winks that made me smile endlessly. my father pulled my cheeks when he saw me smiling.

"My Hanna is getting married at last" Dad said giggling.

"Come here jorr, why do all of his family look hungry? They don't have a car? They came in the car you gifted him" Bobby said immediately they left and I held my head.

"You are a pain in the ass" I slammed as I walked up the stairs.

"When he dumps you, na here we go dey" he shouted behind me. Our parent were still outside the building, they saw our visitors off.

I had another five days to prepare before my introduction, i already got my dress, dad got wines and photographers on board. My mom was in charge of the food and other little things. The both families have agreed to prepare for only 20 guests on a maximum. it was meant to be a small introduction and we have refused to post anything on the net. I would even love to take Jerry and her gang by surprise when they see my introduction images. I can't wait.

I picked my phone from the bed and rushed downstairs, my gold is ready and i need to pick it up.

"Dad, mom, I need to get my gold from a friend, I would be back soon" I told my parent, Bobby was dragging the basket of fruit with my mom.

"On top this 20 people introduction ba? Na here we go dey ooo" he said sipping a little from his wine cup.

"Nothing, Na here you go dey and I go fly go Dubai for honey moon"

He chuckled spitting a bit of his wine in a splash. "You think you are Haira abi? Dubai jam you there, your husband get the money?"

I ignored and dashed out of the house, nobody would poison my mind. All that matters now is me getting married, nothing is as important as that.

When I stepped into the cold room, I admired the pure Gold displayed on plastic mannequin's necks. The black necks sat motionlessly in the glass wardrobe and I couldn't take my eyes off them. Laura's Gold had beautiful gold rings, chains, pendants, wristwatches and bracelets.

"Hanna, you are here" Laura greeted me, she was sitting behind her wooden counter.

"Let me see, I hope it's the exact one I asked for oo" i stretched my hands towards her waiting to feel the gold on my palm.

"You don't trust Laura? You can't be serious" She said handling over a white envelope to me. I impatiently opened it to behold a sparkling gold necklace.

"Wawww" I murmured not able to hide my love for the necklace.

"I told you" Laura said grinning at her excellent performance.

"Now you would start feeling like some kind of better person, where's the wristwatch? won't i use a wristwatch?" I snapped, Laura is a new friend I met recently, she made her hair in my shop and she's so nice. She's her parents only child and a bit spoilt. Her parent set up the gold shop for her and she's so into men but not in any serious relationship, she said love is a scam.

"Wait now haba" She said as she flung the small door separating her and her clients open. She walked towards a glass wardrobe and slid it open, she got a black box and walked back to me.

"This gold ehn, it's called poverty fire" She said removing the upper case to show me a beautiful feminine watch. Seeing the gold and the name she gave to it, I knew it's worth alot.

"How much?" I asked not looking at her.

"750k only" She responded sharply and I shook my head.

"750k? how much is the entire introduction sef haha, Laura"

"Spend Chief Ima's money, stingy girl" She told me pulling my nose to the front.

"I would leave you and attend to better customers now" She said looking outside the shop, a couple held their hands and walked towards the main door.

"Good afternoon, we have the best gold ever, check it out" Laura welcomed her new customers while I sampled my soon to be gold.

"Hanna" A familiar masculine voice called from behind.

I turned to see Fiks, the lady that came in with him was checking out rings with Laura.

"Hi" I greeted trying not to give him too much attention. He smiled and walked up to me.

"You don't have to be hostile, are we still fighting?" He asked putting his hands on the the counter.

"Let me be please, thank you for the address you gave me the other day, I don't just want to have anything to do with Ambrose ever again" I yelled at him, I didn't look side ways.

"So am I Ambrose?"

"You are his friend"

"Look, you need to forget the past, it does nothing but hurt you, love is real, find yourself a man"

Love? Fiks talking about love?

"You don't believe in love when did you start preaching about love and it's existence?" I laughed looking up at his big smile.

"I found love, love found me and i think i want to get married soon" He told me and my eyes bulged.

"Me too" I smiled remembering I had Kay to call my own.

"You too what?

"I am getting married, my introduction would hold on 13th of this month"

"Really? No one told me not even Ambrose"

"I didn't tell him either, is there a need to?" I eyed him and he held his lips with his hand.

"Meet Anita" He introduced the lady he came in with, she was done choosing whether she came to get and stood by Fiks to settle the bills.

"Hi Anita" I shook hands with her, she's so cute that I felt a strike of jealousy in me. she is straight and fair, round face and small lips. I wondered if this kind of beauty goddess is a Nigerian.

"Your girl friend?" I whispered and he nodded.

"The ribs of my ribs he grinned and I look away.
